Rich in history and natural beauty, Amelia Island is a cozy resort town located in northeastern Florida. This island has it all: beautiful sandy white beaches, excellent restaurants, and pirates! Amelia Island is a 7-mile long barrier island located about 30 minutes north of Jacksonville, Florida and about 30 minutes south of Brunswick Georgia. It offers a wide variety of entertainment, hotel, and dining options. The historic district, located on the northwest side of the island, and the various parks and beaches offer scenic backgrounds for spectacular photo shoots. Enjoy horse and carriage rides or haunted tours to learn about the history of the town or spend the night out at the oldest pub in Florida, the Palace Saloon where Blackbeard and his crew were known to frequent. Or, you could try hunting for Blackbeard’s buried treasure on the south end of the island. With everything at your fingertips from movies to spas, Amelia Island is the perfect destination for your unique convention experience.
